DYAM Raja DiHilir of Perak Attends Yasin Recital, Tahlil, and Prayers in Conjunction with the Perak State Warriors’ Day 2025.
IPOH, 25 July 2025 – DYAM Raja DiHilir of Perak Darul Ridzuan, Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Ibni Almarhum Sultan Idris A’fifullah Shah, graciously attended the Yasin Recital, Tahlil, and Prayers in conjunction with the Perak State Warriors’ Day 2025, held at the Sultan Azlan Shah Mosque here.
Also present at the event were the Chief Minister of Perak, YAB Dato’ Seri Saarani bin Mohamad; the Perak State Financial Officer, YB Dato’ Mohd Zaki bin Mahyudin; the President of the Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk), YABhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Annuar bin Zaini; the Director of the Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk), YBhg. Dato’ Harith Fadzilah bin Abdul Halim; as well as dignitaries of the State of Perak and heads of state and federal departments.
The ceremony, attended by more than 1,000 congregants, began with the recitation of Surah Yasin and Tahlil, followed by the Friday sermon titled “Appreciating the Service of National Heroes – Defenders of the Nation”, delivered by Inspector Adib bin Azimat from the Special Branch, Perak Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK).
Following the sermon, congregants performed the Friday prayers led by AF Ustaz Syed Mohd Muzaffar bin Syed Azlan, Chief Imam of the Sultan Azlan Shah Mosque.
Warriors’ Day, celebrated annually on 31 July, aims to honour the sacrifices and contributions of members of the defence and security forces who have risked their lives to safeguard the sovereignty of the nation and the well-being of its people.
