190 bird species recorded in Taiping since 2017
TAIPING: A total of 190 bird species were successfully recorded during the five years of Taiping Bird Week in several locations around the city.
Deputy President of the Natural Ecosystem Sustainability Organization (NEST) Ismail Mamat said that of the total, more than 90 percent of those recorded were local birds while the remainder were migratory bird species.
