The AKEKCHEP, Sg Tiang, Royal Belum State Park Opening Ceremony
The AKEKCHEP, Sg Tiang, Royal Belum State Park Opening Ceremony was officiated by DYAM Raja DiHilir Perak Darul Ridzuan Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain ibni Almarhum Sultan Idris A’fifullah Shah.
Symbolic of the opening was the signature by DYAM Raja DiHilir Perak Darul Ridzuan Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain on the AKEKCHEP announcement signboard, accompanied by the handover of the AKEKCHEP Action Plan document and the final project report by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) to the Sg Tiang Orang Asli Cooperative (KOAST) and the Perak State Park Corporation (PTNPk) respectively.
Royal Belum State Park
The ceremony was also witnessed by the Orang Besar of the Hulu Perak Colony, Hulu Perak District Officer, Perak State Fisheries Director, Perak State Director of the Orang Asli Development Department, Perak State Parks Corporation Acting Director, Malaysian Cooperative Commission Officers for the Hulu Perak Region, Sg Tiang Orang Asli Cooperative and Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
In conjunction with this ceremony, the Perak State Fisheries Department also donated 60 temoleh fish fry and 40 kelah fish fry to be released at AKEKCHEP. It is hoped that these fish fry will grow and multiply in Sg Tiang.
